Nathan Redalen   lives in Pleasant Grove Township in Olmsted County and is a Supervisor. On the Minnesota Association of Townships Board of Directors Nathan represents a district of 159 townships in 9 counties.

The mission of MAT is “to promote a public understanding of the heritage and future of township government and its role in the state of Minnesota and the federal system.” This is why our directors are doing outreach/speaking at service clubs this year. Townships are uniquely “grassroots” government and are different than cities, counties, etc. It will be an interesting civics presentation.
